the last picture is of my new fish. as you can see, he is a red beta fish. yes, his home is a red smirnoff bottle. his name is klaus. he is an amazing fish that is well trained and very respectful of his elders. he doesn't know gymnastics...yet.
tonight we had a glorious feast. cream of mushroom chicken, green bean casserole, mashed taters, and glorious texas toast. mmmmmmmmm.
last night i went to a party at mikey lynch's amazing house. this place was absolutely insane. the house backs up to a creek. his backyard slopes downard toward the creek and as you enter the party...there is a stone labryinth lined with candles and small shrines that allows you to navigate through the 'biergarden'. the house is huge, 2...possibly 3 (access was limited) stories and ornately decorated. every room has bookshelves that line where the ceiling and wall meet. high tech audio and thousands of artifacts from mikey's international journeys made this place feel rustic yet modern...needless to say this house left me speechless. not to mention the several gazebos and greenhouses admist the pleasant atmosphere. the stairs in the house are those thin, metal, spiraling stairs and there are several flights of them throughout the house. the 2 kegs of 'shiner' along with franzia and i believe several thousand jello shots (which i arrived too late for) added to the atmosphere. i do believe that at any given point nearly one hundred people were there. that was a fun evening/morning!
