Farewell to My Foresight
So now that the end is far, far behind
The joy and pain that we traversed
Will be forever in my mind
Each embrace, each glance, not to be reversed

But past the scars of reality
And beyond the records of life
Where there exists no cordiality
Never heartache nor strife

A presence unannounced
Only an existence foretold
Upon which was denounced
A healthy acquaintance, sold

So good bye to you and all of the past
Here we call the ending of the show
This act, this curtain, the last
Flames of love, die where embers glow

This poem was written by me, Adam.
