-commemorating the tour that i will be missing :-/

so, an actual update. well, the week before spring break i had two exams that were quite difficult. i had an accounting exam that was amazingly hard...its never a good sign when the prof says in the middle of the exam 'some of you seem to be having a lot of trouble with this exam...just try your best and i guarantee that everything will work out in the end.' so i suppose that was uplifting. my other exam, in anthropology, i swiftly aced. that really made my day. that friday i had a nice case study with jake and then sean came down from lsu. quite a fun evening!

saturday we left for mexico with the same type of trip that i did last year. it was nothing short of a blast and i really enjoyed myself again. and mexican cervezas are really good! anywho...a few pics:

needless to say it was a fun and fulfilling spring break! i totally enjoyed myself and i honestly wouldn't spend it another way!

the next week we had a short week of school...only four days because of good friday. the professors knew that this week would be pointless...so they covered material very lightly. tuesday night i went and saw dogs die in hot cars in houston...it was a very fun show that was danceable. quite cool and british...as well as french because thats where the headliner phoenix was from.

wednesday night the aggie basketball team lost to st. joseph's in the NIT tournament...sorta wished they could have finished their season out better. but oh well...next year they will be awesome again!

thursday i finished classes and headed over to san marcus to visit biff. it was great seeing that chap again. texas state is quite beautiful and quite situated for partying. we headed down to sixth street enjoyed the scene and then came back to hang out with some of his friends. great time had by all. the next morning we headed down I-10 back to houston where i spent the glorious easter weekend with my family. i ate soooooo much food. it was great!

but now i'm back in college station preparing for my management exam on wednesday. it will be very hard. it's over a lot of material. but i've been studying for a while...so it should be stuck in my head quite a bit better. anywho, i've got to start the day! i hope you have a good one!
