i love three dog night. they always have and always will hold a special significance in my heart. some of you know why. others of you don't. ask me some time.
i studied my butt off for finals. i nearly went neurotic. but hopefully my studying has paid off. confidence would describe my general state of mind whilst leaving my tests on wednesday. heres the scoop on wednesday:
i woke up at 5:15. that is quite early. the earliest i wake up is usually 8:30. i got up at this time to do a little studying. i went to the library and reviewed some chapters. i took my business law final at 8 am. i then came back to the dorm room and did some more packing and threw away a few things. i then summoned mark to grab some lunch and exchange his towel for my duffel. afterwards i went to the west campus library and studied until my exam at 1. i'm so glad to be done with accounting. after that i went back to the dorm and started packing. thankfully, i stumbled upon a dolly and kept making trips for about 2.5 hours. my truck was entirely full of things. i drove it to my sister's house and then took my parents truck back to campus to check out and get my bike. i returned and my family went to rockfish for dinner to celebrate lindsay's birthday. we went back to her house. around 9:30 we left for houston. we got back here around 11. i passed out on the couch. quite a long day!
i have a few prayer requests for all you folks out there. my uncle ervin, who is a father figure to me, is struggling through cancer again. i just ask that you pray for his health and happiness. also, on a lighter note, i am having surgery on tuesday of next week. just ask God to keep me in mind.
i wish hammer pants were still in style. those things were so comfortable. screw the fashion police. heck, screw THE police. i saw so many pulling people over today. seems like they're trying to catch the good guys and not the bad guys sometimes. thats right, screw the bad guys for screwing the good guys. thats what society is all about right? i mean...am i right or am i right? sure am folks. sure am.
oh yeah and i love people that are closed-minded. more specifically, people that are republican or democrat and couldn't tell you why. more so blatant bush supporters that have no idea what they are talking about. much like bush himself, on many occasions. speaking of which, how about those gas prices? insanity! just a few weeks ago they were up around 2.15. now they are leveling out around 2.00. is there a light at the end of this tunnel? does it burn gasoline? or is it the oil companies hoping to maintain their market share that keep this economy running? go ahead, persecute me for my naivety and liberality. but keep in mind, i might be that disgruntled college graduate filling up your gas tank one day. and i won't top it off correctly. it'll be $315.01 for you, fool.
a semi-ranting post was just about due. its been oh so long. i think i'll do this more often. weeeeeeeee!
A New Day, A New Life
Each day I am showered in God's love.

I am a recent college graduate that is embarking upon the real world. Exemplifying God's love through my thoughts, words, and actions is my ultimate goal.
