this new album is freaking awesome. i love the story that it tells. i think it's great music because the decemberists combine so many instruments and combine the entire instrumental experience so intricately with innovative lyrical components that they have orchestrated into each individual song. I heard that Colin Meloy gave a subpar performance at one of their recent concerts in Houston. I'm pretty sure that was shortly after all of their equipment was stolen out of their tour bus. but yeah. thats enough of that.

i found a pretty interesting website. it is basically a collection of photos taken by this individual who goes to abandoned places (usually factories, hotels, and hospitals). i find it to be quite intriguing and a good way to waste some time without wasting brain cells. click below:
