To You the Beauty
My desecrated intuition defiles your subtle grace,
Betwixt and befuddled, your aura of perfection,
Graces me with awe in sheer appreciation,
Of the moments I can view your celestial face.

Your delicate emanations of beauty to my eyes,
You my paragon; this heart, your lyre
You the phoenix, burning with fire,
Blazing brighter than all the stars in the skies.

Eternally, my hope, for you to be within my grasp,
To familiarize myself with your ways.
I will try the rest of my lingering days,
To discover how our hands can perpetually clasp.

This poem was written by me, Adam.
