My Veracious Epilepsy
During my vacillation of consciousness,
I find peace in the midst of affliction.
Fading in fits of prevailing direction,
My mind wanders in indomitable helplessness.
This creature has created my disconsolation,
It deludes me through what reality seems.
My eyes see nothing but shimmering beams,
Your pinch, your scream, no sensation.
While I shudder and cringe, I am gratified
To leave this oppressive world behind,
To sit alone with a dormant mind
For compendious seconds, I am satisfied.
After leaving this painless lair,
My rupturing nerves regain their norm
The transition molds me to a form
My response: a glazed, lifeless stare.
This poem was written by me, Adam.
A New Day, A New Life
Each day I am showered in God's love.

I am a recent college graduate that is embarking upon the real world. Exemplifying God's love through my thoughts, words, and actions is my ultimate goal.
