A New Day, A New Life

Rain Ballad
Wandering in the rain
Minding time as it washes away
Feeling the new
And enjoying the stay
Refreshed and rejoiced
Of the falling rain

Thinking of time
And it’s incessant heart
A constant beat
And an imminent end
Like the rain
It will stop

Enjoying the time that is given
Spending it well as we speak
Passing it with truth
Avoiding the malice
Of waste
And regret

A time lost
A time gained
Determined by actions
And subliminal fate
An emotional revolution
Of the past
